It would be a missed opportunity not to visit the beautiful 14th century Church of St George to reflect on the charming surroundings and to appreciate the history contained within its walls.

St Georges Church shall soon have their own website.

Lunch Club in Barton Village Hall the 3rd Tuesday in the month £2.50, followed by a game of bingo and a raffle.

2nd Tuesday in the month in the Church free cake and drinks. Come in for a chat. Starts at 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

16th April There will be a Cheese and Wine by kind permission of Martin and Sally Branden Bravo at 27 Rectory Place at 7.00 pm, to raise money for this years Flowers for the Flower Festival. Tickets available from PCC members.

23rd April The St George’s Day service will start with a parade by the Explorers, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Rainbow, Guides and Brownies starting off outside St George’s Church at 6.00 pm finishing back at church for a short service at 6.15 pm

We are also having the Garden Fete this year on the 19th June 2010 at No. 1 Chestnut Lane

The Flower Festival will be on the 10/11 July 2010 and the theme will be 'Wedding Anniversaries'.
